Women’s Aid will join with End Violence Against Women NI, Belfast Feminist Network, NIPSA and a host of community and voluntary organisations today to dance on the streets of Belfast as part of the One Billion Rising day of activism.
We’ll be shaking our stuff in Stormont at 12.30pm in an event hosted by Junior Ministers Jennifer McCann and Jonathan Bell, and again at City Hall at 7pm. The dance flash mobs are all in aid of raising awareness about violence against women in Northern Ireland and across the globe.
Events for One Billion Rising are being held all over the world in 203 countries today, so show the women in your life your love and respect by joining us for a day of dancing!
